Focus areas

Jenny’s training and subsequent experience is in the often interrelated and overlapping fields of animal welfare science, ethics, and law. She is interested in both a combined focus on two or all three of these strands, in addition to a singular focus on just one of these strands. Jenny is committed to the promotion of recognising premature death/killing as a welfare problem. Her interests and experience are interdisciplinary and span multiple species and all stages of life—especially regarding farmed animals. A particular focal point, especially for pro-bono work, is ex-commercial chicken care. She cares for two rescue cats, one Romanian-rescue dog, and five ex-laying hens. View her full portfolio.
